Halloween Trick or Treat Trail
Ready to eat, drink and be scary?
Bluewattle’s Trick or Treat Trail is back. This year there will be a spooky jumping castle, face-painting, food, games and prizes for the best decorated Halloween house. Plus the streets of Bluewattle will come to life as a child-friendly Trick or Treat Trail from 5pm – 7pm.
WHERE: Jeff Caddies Park, Bluewattle Drive (just off Riverway Drive)
WHEN: Tuesday, 31 October 2017, 5pm – 7pm
COST: Free activities and Trick or Treating. Food and drinks will be available for purchase.
Begin your trick or treating at the Bluewattle Sales Office, 12 Bluewattle Boulevard to pick up a map of all participating houses on the Trick or Treat Trail.
Adult supervision is required for all Trick or Treaters. Bluewattle and Defence Housing Australia accept no responsibility for the safety of participants.
Register your house on the Trick or Treat Trail!
Would you like to welcome Trick or Treaters to your door this Halloween? Be one of the first 20 homes to register and receive 4kg of free lollies to give away. Plus decorate your home and be eligible to win a $200 Visa voucher for the best Halloween themed home on the Trick or Treat trail.
Requirements for participating homes:
- Must be located within the Bluewattle development
- Must be attended by the owner/occupier or registered tenant at all times during the Trick or Treat Trail
- Must not invite Trick or Treaters into their home
- Must provide another 4kg (approx.) of wrapped or packaged treats, to cater for up to 800 visitors.
Register by Friday 20 October 2017:
Terms and conditions: 1. Homes on the Bluewattle Trick or Treat Trail must be located within the Bluewattle development, and comply with the Conditions of participation (stated above). 2. Participating homes may only be registered by the owner/occupier or registered tenant of the property (‘The Host’), and this person must be in attendance throughout the duration of activities. 3. Hosts must not invite Trick or Treaters into their home at any time. 4. Hosts must give out wrapped or pre-packaged treats only. Unwrapped treats are a health and safety risk and must not be handed out. 5. One (1) prize, as advertised, will be awarded to the Best Decorated House on the Trick or Treat Trail. This prize will be selected by Bluewattle’s appointed judging panel. The judges’ decision is final and no negotiation will be entered into. The prize is not transferrable and may not be redeemed for cash. 6. All Halloween decorations must be removed from participating homes no later than 6 November 2017. 7. Halloween decorations must not pose a safety hazard for Trick or Treaters visiting your property. Bluewattle and Defence Housing Australia will accept no responsibility for illness or injury caused by a Host’s Halloween decorations. 8. Bluewattle and Defence Housing Australia accept no responsibility for loss or damage to or caused by Halloween decorations.
